Privacy terms and conditions
Ad Rem Tõlkebüroo OÜ (City Centre Translation Agency) is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients and users. These principles cover the collection, use, disclosure, transfer and storage of client data. Our activities comply with the relevant European Union legislation and the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is data collected and used to provide services, send offers, fulfil orders, conclude loyalty or cooperation agreements, forward information or contact the person. Ad Rem Tõlkebüroo OÜ is the controller of personal data.
Client personal data may be collected as follows:
- To send translation materials to the client (first and last name, phone, address, postcode, e-mail, company).
- When submitting a service or price request at our office, via the website form, by e-mail or phone (name, phone, e-mail).
- Information related to previous translation work (service history).
- When concluding a cooperation or confidentiality agreement (company, contact person's details).
- When visiting our website (IP address, location, browser type, operating system, time and duration of the visit, traffic statistics).
- Data collected via cookies when visiting our website.
Collection of other data
We collect non-personal data on website visits (gender, age, language preference, location) and generalised client activity (search terms, landing pages). This is aggregated and treated as non-personal data.
We use Google Analytics to analyse web usage; it generates statistical information based on cookie data, which is stored by Google.
Use of collected personal data
We use the data to inform clients about services, campaigns and offers, and about matters related to the translation (changes to deadline or volume, clarifying terms, etc.). Data is used to fulfil obligations – preparing quotes and delivering documents. Correspondence may be retained to improve our services.
For better service we may disclose information to third parties who provide services to us and are contractually bound to keep it confidential: translation partners, web development/management and marketing, and courier services.
Disclosure of data
We may disclose your personal data: (a) where required by law; (b) to resolve legal disputes; (c) to protect our rights and ensure security (e.g. in case of suspected fraud).
User rights
You have the right to know which personal data we store and to request its correction, amendment, erasure or transfer. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
Objection to legitimate interest. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest by submitting a written request.
Erasure. In certain circumstances you may request erasure, except where we are legally required to retain the data.
Restriction. Under certain conditions you may restrict processing.
Data portability. You may receive or transfer to another controller the data you provided on the basis of consent or a contract and which is processed automatically.
Protection of personal data
We apply all precautions (administrative, technical and physical measures) to protect client data. Access is limited to authorised persons who need it for their work.
Security
All personal data learned while visiting the website and purchasing services is treated as confidential. An encrypted data channel with banks ensures the security of the data.
